Who We Are
Plus 5XP was founded in 2019 with a mission: to bring real, data-driven career strategy to international students in North America — not the recycled advice found on social media or AI-generated blogs.We’re career coaches who understand that international students face a unique challenge. You’re not just trying to find a job — you’re navigating immigration policy, economic uncertainty, and cultural barriers. And most “career support” isn’t built for that.
At Plus 5XP, we bring clarity and results by blending three things:
Labor market data. Immigration frameworks. Strategic coaching.
We help students on OPT, CPT, PGWP, STEM OPT, and H1B pathways understand where opportunity actually exists — and how to position themselves for it.

Our Story
Founder Peter Croubalian launched Plus 5XP after seeing a huge gap in the career support available to international students. With a background in economics and public policy, Peter saw that universities were often under-equipped to guide students through the real-world complexity of getting hired in North America — especially within STEM fields.
What began as 1-on-1 coaching quickly expanded into workshops, institutional partnerships, and a community of students who were ready to stop guessing and start making strategic moves. Since then, Plus 5XP has supported students from over 15 countries, collaborated with leading universities, and helped hundreds secure interviews, internships, and long-term job offers — all while navigating the realities of post-graduate work authorization.
Our Approach
We don’t sell fluff. We don’t promise easy wins. Instead, we give students a real plan — one built on:
